從事媒體攝影工作超過20年，曾任職台灣日報、蘋果日報、風傳媒攝影記者，網路原生獨立媒體《報導者》攝影部主任。目前同時為《少年報導者》影像顧問，《報導者》在地影像扎根計畫執行人，政大傳播學院兼任助理教授，「敘光室」攝影私塾導師。對議題攝影及創作攝影有所實踐，擅於引導攝影個體學習，突破盲點和瓶頸。
